Summary: The aim of this work is to prove the existence and the uniqueness of the solution of a degenerate parabolic equation. This is done using classical results of \textit{H. Tanabe} [Osaka Math. J. 12, 363-376 (1960; Zbl 0098.31301)] and \textit{P. E. Sobolevskij} [Tr. Moskov. Mat. Obshch. 10, 297-350 (1961; Zbl 0141.32701)].
