Correction to ``Fundamental solutions for the Tricomi operator. II'' (Q1394594)

This paper is devoted to the correction of a result of Part II [Duke Math. J. 117, 561-584 (2003; Zbl 1017.35081)]. The authors refer to the expression \(I^{(2)}_{\overline A_\varepsilon}\) (see (4.23)) in this paper. In general, \(I^{(2)}_{\overline A_\varepsilon}\) does not tend to zero as \(\varepsilon\to 0\). The following is the correct statement: \[ \lim_{\varepsilon \to 0}I^{(2)}_{\overline A_\varepsilon}= {2^{1/3} (2\ell_0)^{5/6} \over\Gamma (1/6) \Gamma (5/6)}\int^\infty_{\ell_0} {(\ell-\ell_0)^{5/6} \over\ell+ \ell_0} \psi (\ell,\ell_0) d\ell. \]
