The authors suggest and study two approaches to the construction of approximations of optimal control problems for systems whose state is described by a one-sided boundary value problem for an elliptic equation. Well-posedness of this optimal control problem is investigated in the weak topology. Accuracy estimates of these approximations with respect to the state and the objective functional are obtained. The approximations are regularized after Tikhonov.
