The authors analyze initial boundary value problems for a system of one-dimensional quasilinear thermoviscoelasticity equations with rapidly oscillating nonsmooth coefficients and initial data. Passage to the limit initial boundary value problems for the corresponding system of two-scale homogenized integro-differential equations is rigorously substantiated.
