The authors analyze solitary waves in a mathematical model of the heterogeneous catalytic reaction \(2\text{NO}+2\text{CO}\to 2\text{CO}_2+\text{N}_2\) on a face of a Pt(100) monocrystal. An efficient numerical algorithm is proposed for constructing a solution of traveling-pulse wave type. The evolution of the traveling pulse is analyzed by means of parameter continuation.
