The author constructs a KP\(_1\) acceleration scheme consistent with the weighted diamond differencing scheme and designed to accelerate the inner iterative process for the transport equation. An algorithm solving the P\(_1\) system for accelerating corrections is proposed, based on the cyclic alternating-direction implicit method combined with a tridiagonal algorithm for the supplementary system of two-point equations.
