The authors analyze an initial-boundary value problem for the system of nonlinear differential equations governing the dynamics of a relativistic charge moving in the electromagnetic field defined as a superposition of a copropagating plane wave and steady magnetic field parallel to the propagation direction. Analytical expressions are derived in the form of a uniform convergent Fourier series describing the change in the charge energy and coordinates.
