The authors show that the system of two nonlinear Schrödinger equations with quadratic and cubic nonlinear terms (that governs second harmonic generation of femtosecond pulses) to admit several solutions. The invariants of the problem are used to find solutions to the problem in the long-pulse approximation, and their stability is analyzed.
