This paper is concerned with a family of three-parameter iterative algorithms for solving nonsingular systems of linear equations with symmetric indefinite block matrices. For this family, asymptotic-optimization problems of minimax type are formulated and solved. In general, they depend on two spectral parameters of auxiliary problems. The iteration matrices corresponding to optimal values of the parameters are not symmetrizable.
