Exact analytical solutions to the time-dependent three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are constructed for the viscous flow in a rotating slot. The slot executes a solid-body rotation with constant angular velocity. The fluid is injected into and sucked out of the flow at constant velocity, respectively, through the porous upper and lower plates that make up the slot. The results obtained are used to analyze the boundary-layer structures developing at the walls.
