In this paper, the current-density spaces corresponding to E- and H-polarization are constructed for the first time, and the structure of these spaces is analyzed. It is shown that the constructed spaces are Sobolev spaces, and the corresponding bases are found in analytical form. A criterion is developed for choosing a current-density space.
