The paper deals with a difference technique for simultaneous computation of the Boltzmann and the Navier-Stokes equations. Numerical results obtained by computing inviscid supersonic and subsonic gas flow parallel to an infinitely thin plate are presented. A flow is computed by matching the solution to the Boltzmann equation with the solution to Navier-Stokes equations on a rectangular contour encompassing the plate.
