The paper under review is a survey article on the \(p\)-adic Nevanlinna theory. The author first gives a brief survey on \(p\)-adic Nevanlinna theory for \(p\)-adic meromorphic functions on \(\mathbb{C}_p\). Next, the theory of \(p\)-adic holomorphic curves due to Khoai, Cherry and Ye is presented. As its applications, he also gives some topics such as the \(p\)-adic hyperbolic spaces and the unique range sets for \(p\)-adic meromorphic functions.
