[For Part I see ibid. 251, 609--623 (2000; Zbl 0964.93070).] For hybrid estimation problems arising in nonlinear systems operating sequentially in different modal regimes, modifications of the Gaussian wavelet estimator are considered working also under discontinuity conditions and the possibility of measurement failure. For illustration, an example of speed adaptation is given.
