The authors give a description of the Veroneseans of quadrics and consider four types of characterizations of these Veroneseans. They also introduce a Hermitian Veronesean and a Hermitian cap. Some relationships between Hermitian caps and Hermitian Veroneseans are obtained. There are no proofs but most theorems are new results on Veroneseans.
