Motivated by ideas and results in \(l\)-groups, the author proves analogous results for GMV-algebras. These algebras are a generalized form of MV-algebras, and so the author is also motivated by ideas and results there. A major result is that a GMV-algebra is archimedean and 0-meet compact if and only if it is finite.
