The minimum permanent of matrices \(\mu(T)\) in doubly stochastic matrices of order \(n\) is studied. It is found that \[ \mu_{\min} (n)\leq 1/2^{n-1} \text{ and }\mu_{\max}(n) \geq(n-2)^{n-2}/(n-1)^{n-1}, \] respectively.
