Symmetries of the simplest case of the so-called four-matrix Schlesinger system (Ss) are studied. The concept of symmetry here refers to a correspondence between two Ss's with different parameters. A new form of the Ss and the modular group action on the corresponding linear system are investigated. The Ss's that are connected by an Okamoto transformation are discussed as well. The references given adequately reflects the contents.
