A nonsmooth optimization problem (Q1405935)

The paper deals with the linear system \[ \ddot y+Ay = 0,\tag{1} \] where \(A\) is an \(m\times m\) asymmetric real matrix of positional nonconservative forces. The authors discuss a problem on establishing the constructive parameters minimizing the quality functional. Taking into account the fact that the functional under consideration is non-smooth the authors establish necessary conditions for a local extremum.
