The authors propose an algorithm that computes the Bode, Nyquist and Nichols frequency response for nonrational transfer functions. The only constraints are that the magnitude and phase functions should be bounded and continuous with respect to frequency. The algorithm computes the above plots with prescribed accuracy and in a finite number of iterations. Several examples show the advantage of the algorithm over other commonly used techniques.
