The paper deals with an interpolation problem in which the irrationality of \[ \zeta(3) = \sum\limits_{n=1}^\infty \frac1{n^3} \] is proved. The irrationality of \(\zeta(3)\) was proved for the first time in \textit{R. Apéry} [Astérisque 61, 11--13 (1979; Zbl 0401.10049)].
