Let \(\mathcal K\) be a finitely closed subcategory of the category of right \(R\)-modules and \(_SU_R\) be a bimodule. The author establishes necessary and sufficient conditions under which the covariant functor \(\Hom_R(U,-)\) induces an equivalence between \(\mathcal K\) and some finitely closed subcategory of the category of right \(S\)-modules. The dual problem is discussed for the contravariant functor \(\Hom_R(-,U)\).
