A groupoid \(S\) with identity \(1\) satisfying the conditions \(x^2= 1\), \(xy= yx\) and \(x(xy)= y\), for all \(x,y\in S\), is called a sloop. The author constructs semi-planar sloops that are not planar and of cardinality \(2n\) for each \(n\equiv 2\) or \(4\pmod 6\).
