This paper is concerned with the dependence of the variational solution of a Dirichlet problem for a second order elliptic equation with respect to perturbations of the domain. Some estimates for the difference of two solutions in two open sets are obtained, with respect to the ``distance'' between the two sets and suitable geometrical parameters. These estimates are derived when at least one of the sets is uniformly Lipschitz.
