Making use of the second scheme of the order reduction method proposed by the author et al., a theorem is proved that makes it possible to determine the conditions for adequate reduction of a class of mathematical models in nonlinear dynamic systems. The high number of required assumptions for this theorem makes its proof rather difficult to be followed. Neither illustrative examples nor applications are given.
