The authors obtained (1) asymptotic expansions of Charlier, Meixner-Pollaczek, Jacobi, Meixner, and Krawtchouk polynomials in terms of Hermite polynomials; (2) asymptotic expansions of Meixner-Pollaczek, Jacobi, Meixner, and Krawtchouk polynomials in terms of Charlier polynomials. The paper also provides an exhaustive analysis of three lower levels of the Askey scheme.
