The author considers the generalized Hermite polynomials related to the parabolic cylinder functions. Recursion relations, explicit representations and the differential equation are derived. A representation in terms of the confluent hypergeometric function is given. Special cases of the associated Hermite polynomials and applications to the theory of parabolic cylinder functions are considered in the paper.
