Some properties of centrosymmetric matrices (Q1408318)

A kind of special matrices, the centrosymmetric matrices \(A\), appearing frequently in the construction of orthonormal wavelet basis, are studied. For the reduced form of \(A\) conditions are found for this form to be nonsingular, symmetric or positive definite. The exploitation of special structures of the matrices \(A\) is discussed.
