Monotonicity of zeroes of orthogonal Laurent polynomials (Q1409767)

This paper deals with the monotonicity of the zeros of the orthogonal Laurent polynomials associated with a strong distribution with respect to a parameter (for a detailed study of such polynomials [ see \textit{W. B. Jones}, \textit{W. J. Thron} and \textit{H. Waadeland}, ``A strong Stieltjes moment problem'', Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 261, 503--528 (1980; Zbl 0449.30004]). In particular, they study the case when the distribution is a positive absolutely continuous distribution. Also some criterion for testing the monotonicity in the general case is given.
