The results in this paper describe how quantitative properties of univariate operators are inherited by the tensor product of their parametric extensions. Statements concerning simultaneous approximation are included. The estimates presented in the paper are in terms of partial and total moduli of smoothness of higher-order. Applications to splines and Bernstein operators are given.
