In this paper, the authors prove some new random fixed point theorems in spaces with two metrics. The results presented in this paper extend some recent results of \textit{K.-K. Tan} and \textit{X.-Z. Yuan} [Stochastic Anal. Appl. 15, 103-123 (1997; Zbl 0892.47060)] and \textit{H. Xu} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 110, 395-400 (1990; Zbl 0716.47029].
