The authors first review some of the main properties of the sinc-Galerkin method that are necessary for the formulation of a discrete system and illustrate how the sinc-Galerkin method may be used to replace the considered nonlinear differential equation by an explicit system of nonlinear algebraic equations, which is solved by Newton's method. Later the authors present appropriate techniques to treat nonhomogeneous boundary conditions and give numerical examples, where the exact solution is explicitly given.
