Consider a supercritical branching diffusion on a compact manifold with diffusion generator \(Lf= (1/2)[\Delta f-\nabla u\cdot\nabla f]\), constant branching density, and binary, locally space-dependent branching. How are the offspring probabilities to be chosen to yield a given Lebesgue density of the eigenfunctional of the moment semigroup corresponding to the largest eigenvalue? The authors supply explicit expressions.
