The author continues investigating his \(X_{\alpha, p}\) spaces which are \(l_p\)-versions of the hereditarily-\(l_1\) space failing the Schur property, considered in \textit{P. Azimi} and \textit{J. Hagler} [Pac. J. Math. 122, 287--297 (1986; Zbl 0609.46012)]. The main result of the paper was announced in \textit{P. Azimi} [Tangmanee, E. (ed.) et al., Proceedings of the second Asian mathematical conference 1995, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, 1995. Singapore: World Scientific, 1--4 (1998; Zbl 0971.46010)].
