B-splines on the three-direction mesh are constructed whose support is a unit square. They should also be symmetric with respect to one of the diagonals. For sufficiently high degree \(n\), continuous differentiability of order \(k\) is obtained. Further, the degree of the arising spline space is found, as well as the splines with the above properties and of minimal degree. Eaxmples and algorithms to compute these splines are provided.
