Errors are found in example problems in the paper of \textit{H. Poincaré} [Résal J. (3) 8, 251--296 (1882; JFM 14.0666.01)]. In particular, it is reported that in Examples 4 and 5 of Chapter 7, and Examples 1-3 of Chapter 9 there are fixed-points at infinity instead of limit cycles.
