Complexification of foliations and complex secondary classes (Q1416079)

The paper contains two results: First, using differential graded algebras and classifying spaces, the author gives a spectral sequence which can be used to calculate characteristic classes of transversely holomorphic foliations. Second, he shows that complexification of foliations induces a natural isomorphism in cohomology between certain differential graded algebras, thus showing that the Godbillon-Vey and the Bott classes are related via complexification. This is demonstrated in an explicit example.
