The authors study extended divergence-measure fields which include vector fields in \(L^p\) and vector valued Radon measures. They develop a notion of normal traces over Lipschitz deformable surfaces and establish a generalized Gauss-Green theorem. As an application of these results, uniqueness and stability of Riemann solutions of the one-dimensional Euler equations for an isentropic gas in the class of entropy solutions is proved.
