The authors generalize some Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities obtained by \textit{S. S. Dragomir} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 167, 49--56 (1992; Zbl 0758.26014)] and \textit{S. S. Dragomir}, \textit{Y. J. Cho} and \textit{S. S. Kim} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 245, 489--501 (2000; Zbl 0956.26015)]. A refinement of a Fejér type inequality for convex functions is also presented.
