Galois structures on plane compacts. (Q1419010)

The authors study topological generic elements for completions of algebraic extensions of the field \(\mathbb{Q}\) of rational numbers. They also introduce a certain class of compact subsets of \(\mathbb{C}\) and show that these are exactly the compact subsets of \(\mathbb{C}\) on which one can construct a transitive Galois action of the absolute Galois group of the field of \(\mathbb{Q}.\)
