The Galerkin approximation is applied to study essential changes of dynamic properties of wave equations in transition from one spatial variable to two variables. Besides, unusual properties of attractors of wave equations with two variables are analyzed. In \(L_2\) metrics the attractor is bounded and this attractor is not bounded in energy metrics.
