The authors establish new oscillation criteria for the second-order nonlinear neutral differential equation \[ (r(t)\psi(x(t))[x(t)+p(t)x(\tau(t))]')'+q(t)f(x[\sigma(t)])=0. \] The obtained results are new even for the corresponding ordinary delay differential equation (that is \(p(t)\equiv 0\)), and are easily verifiable.
