The paper deals with the main principles of extrapolation process application to solution of systems of differential algebraic equations. Because of the implicit character of basic one-step methods the implicit extrapolation methods work only if at every point of the network a sufficient number of iterations are fulfilled for the solution of the discrete problems arising. The author presents a priori estimates for a sufficient number of iterations for complete and modified Newton methods.
