Slightly changing normalizations in previous publications the authors give relationships between positive multi-point Padé continued fractions (arising from rational Stieltjes moment problems) and their positive extensions. Renormalizing certain coefficients in the continued fractions to \(1\), results from a previous paper [Lect. Notes Pure Appl. Math. 199, 69--100 (1998; Zbl 0930.30004)] are recovered.
