Hermite orthogonal rational functions (Q1425673)

This paper is concerned with the family of rational function sequences that is constructed from the classical Hermite polynomials. The author recalls his previous developments [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 136, No. 1--2, 53--72 (2001; Zbl 0993.65033)] of \(d\)-fold doubling orthogonal polynomial sequences. New results are given on construction of \(q\)-fold Gauss quadrature, the Hermite \(d\)-fold Hermite rational and Hermite-Gauss quadrature. Results are also included on rational function coefficients, recurrence formulas, continued fractions `Rodrigues' type formulas and differential equations for the general cases.
