The authors derive explicit particular solutions for singularly perturbed partial differential equations with constant coefficients, on a rectangular domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions, using the technique of separation of variables. An analysis of convergence for the series solution is performed, which is useful in numerical solution. Two computational models are derived.
