The reachability of a stochastic target problem, i.e. the set of all initial values from which the state process with some control process is steered in a given deterministic set, is proved to be equal to a smooth solution of the corresponding parabolic geometric flow. The main result is illustrated by mean curvature flows and inverese mean curvature flows, for which non-smooth solutions are also discussed.
