The authors model a boundary control system by means of semigroup theory and boundary operators (for the origins of this approach see the reviewer [SIAM J. Control 6, 349--385 (1968; Zbl 0164.10902)] and \textit{D. Washburn} [SIAM J. Control Optimization 17, 652--671 (1979; Zbl 0439.93035)]). They announce a number of results on closed-loop robust boundary control.
