The authors discuss the propagation of waves in an infinite homogeneous isotropic thermoelastic plate using various theories of thermoelasticity. The effect of stress-free insulated or isothermal and rigidly fixed insulated or isothermal boundaries on the wave propagation is studied taking into account the thermo-mechanical coupling.
