The purpose of this paper is to show that the modified Cherednik algebras defined by \textit{M. Kapranov} in [J. Am. Math. Soc. 14, No. 1, 239--262 (2001; Zbl 0958.20005)] are isomorphic to elliptic Hecke algebras (defined by \textit{H. Yamada} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 36, No. 1, 111--138 (2000; Zbl 1052.14007)]). This is done by first of all determining an alternative set of generators and relations for the elliptic Hecke algebras and then giving the isomorphism explicitly.
